Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first!Job descriptionI. SummaryEMR USA has an opening for an end of life vehicle (ELV) technician. In this role, the ELV employee will assist with intake of cars to be recycled, break down cars to various components and prepare them for the next step in the process. To be successful, the ELV employee must be organized and able to perform several tasks at the same time. Ultimately, an outstanding ELV employee has good customer service skills, is a team player and possesses a strong work ethic.

II. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesUsing a forklift to handle inventoryEntering and tracking inventory data on an iPadImplementing and documenting all facets of inventory controlAssisting with all facets of the dismantling or disassembly of automobiles that have reached the end of their life cycleRemoving tires, batteries and converters from automobiles purchased as scrapDraining fluids from ELV vehiclesOperate loader to move vehicles in the yard

III. Required Skills / AbilitiesProficient computer or tablet userMechanical experience in dealing with automobiles

IV. Education & ExperienceMust possess a valid driver's licenseForklift operator experience is required

V. Other Job Demands

While performing the essential functions of this job, the Load inspector will be working in an outdoor environment. The employee may be near moving mechanical parts and will be exposed to all weather conditions. The noise level in the environment can be loud and will require ear protection. The employee is required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
