TrueNorth is looking for a
Data Analyst Intern
to work with our
Finance and Technology team . The Data Analyst Intern will work collaboratively between Finance and Technology to identify opportunities to use data technology to drive efficiency. If you are looking to grow your skills in financial acumen, data science, and communication; this is the role for you!
Our internship program is a 10-week paid program, running May – August 2025.
This position will be working out of our Cedar Rapids, IA office.
As a Data Analyst Intern, You Will:
Perform data analysis to identify trends, provide insights, and support decision-making.Conduct financial analysis to evaluate performance and support strategic initiatives.Carry out systems analysis to assess and improve processes and technology use.Manage requirements by gathering, documenting, and ensuring alignment with project goals.Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and project progress.Education, Experience, & Skills:
Must be of Junior or Senior status, currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Finance and Data Analytics or related field.Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointThe ability to work successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbalIdeal candidates will have a genuine interest in the insurance industry.We believe that
