TrueNorth is looking for a
Data Developer Intern
to work with our
Transportation/Risk Solutions Team . The Data Developer Intern will be responsible for Power BI reporting, data analysis, data quality assurance, and much more.
Our internship program is a 10-week paid program, running May – August 2025.
This position will be working out of our Cedar Rapids, IA office.
As a Data Developer Intern, You Will:
Develop Power BI reports to support data analysis and decision-making.Enhance existing Power BI reports to improve functionality and insights.Collect, prepare, manipulate, and analyze data files from various sources for reporting purposes.Ensure data quality and accuracy by performing thorough quality assurance checks.Oversee the entire process of data collection, preparation, manipulation, and analysis to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.Education, Experience, & Skills:
Must be of Junior or Senior status, currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.Proficient in Power BI or similar reporting platformPrior internship or job experienceExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointThe ability to work successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbalIdeal candidates will have a genuine interest in the insurance industry.We believe that
