What you get to do:
You will safely repair and maintain company owned vehicles and equipment following all company policies and procedures. You will inspect, diagnose and repair all company vehicles including cars, trucks, vans, busses, trams, golf carts and utility vehicles. You will also:
Primary responsibility will be to drive our Sweeper Truck.Inspect, diagnose and repair small engine powered equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, pressure washers, etc.) and heavy equipment (fork lifts, cranes, high reach etc.Complete all required documentationInspect and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systemsOperate automotive lifts, high reach, fork lift and other machineryMaintain and operate parking lot sweeper equipmentDeliver exceptional guest serviceAssist guests and team members with minor automotive issues (e.g., flat tires, jump starts etc.Positively interact with vendors to receive parts and suppliesClean and perform and other duties as assignedWhat it takes to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of related experience or automotive vocational school trainingASE certification in brakesValid state driver's licenseAbility to obtain company driver's license and pass a DOT physicalAbility to train and pass SeaWorld forklift and high reach certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stand for entire shiftAbility to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs. alone as well as push 1,000 pounds with assistanceComfortable working at heights, around water and in any weather/temperatureKnowledge of basic hand toolsAbility to operate machinery and use protective gearMust be able to work independently and troubleshoot problemsBasic computer proficiencyScheduling flexibilityWorking knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferredUnderstanding of automotive electrical and mechanical controls desiredHeavy equipment operating skills a plusExperience in other maintenance related fields highly desirableThe perks of the position:
