Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure solutions that support the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the company's needs.Manage and maintain on-premises systems and infrastructure server, storage, and network infrastructure Fortinet, Cisco, Nimble as well as cloud systems GCP and AWS to ensure optimal performance.Develop automation and scripting to streamline operations using Ansible, Terraform, PythonEnsure security and compliance standards are met and maintained across all infrastructure.Design and Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to protect company data.Monitor and maintain system performance leveraging NMS tools such as Zabbix and SolarWinds.Responsible for reporting leveraging defined KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)Provide collaboration and support to other teams within the organization.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience with system backup technologies VEEAM preferred.High level understanding and administration of Office365, EntraID, GCP, AWS.Demonstrated proficiency with VMWare and Hyper-V platforms.Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools Docker, KubernetesKnowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Strong knowledge of authentication methods such as SAML/SSO and transport protocols TLS, HTTPS SAML, LDAP, SSL.Working knowledge of the Atlassian Suite of products.PMO methodologiesPrior experience in DR / Business Continuity planning.Exposure to ITIL framework is preferred.Requires strong technical aptitude, creativity, and ability to research and solve complex issues.Requires strong organizational skills.Experience documenting, project tracking and management reporting.Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within IT and Purchasing. Performs varied tasks.Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.Ability to work both alone and as part of a team with established standards.Working Conditions
