Tax Senior - Private Client Services

A recognized CPA / consulting firm in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional for a great Senior-level opportunity with their Private Client Services (PCS) team. In this role, the Tax Senior will be responsible for focusing on tax business planning, advisory & compliance services for ultra-wealthy families as well as multi-general wealth planning.
Responsibilities:
The Tax Senior will:Prepare intermediate to advanced level returns and reviews basic tax returns related to PCS clientsAddress questions on technical accounting matters from team members and upper level client managementPerform a detailed review of team's workflow and monitors tasks to ensure they are assigned and completed on a timely basisManage multiple assignments inside an engagementCommunicate with Partner, Manager and/or Supervising Senior on work status and client issues that ariseParticipate in planning and execution of client engagement in collaboration with the Manager and/or Partner on the jobIdentify opportunities to leverage staff including designing staffing structure of engagementLead small to medium sized assignments with finalized document and report requiring minimal change upon reviewPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
3+ years of relevant Tax work and industry experience serving HNW clientsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, and/or a related fieldExperience working with High Net Worth clientsAdvanced knowledge of applicable accounting software (e.g. ProSystem Engagement, Tax, etc.)Microsoft Excel proficientSolid analytical, mathematical, and research skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:
Master's Degree in Taxation
