Midland Industries has a new opportunity for an

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & Online Sales Specialist

to join the team at their headquarters in Kansas City, MO. As the

Online Sales Specialist , you will be instrumental in advancing our online sales strategy, managing our Electronic Data Interchange processes, and fostering strong relationships with our retail partners.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to implement and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes for seamless transactions.Responds promptly to customer inquiries and concerns related to online sales.Implements and maintain security measures to protect sensitive customer and company data.Participates in cross-functional meetings to coordinate activities and address challenges.Uses analytics to make data-driven decisions and recommend improvements to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.Oversees the end-to-end process of online sales, from order placement to fulfillment, optimizing inventory levels and ensuring timely deliveries.Ensures accurate and compelling product information on online platforms, collaborating with the marketing team for effective product listings.Troubleshoots and provide support for EDI-related issues, collaborating with IT and customer support teams to resolve challenges promptly.Maintains and updates labels and orders pre-print and pre-packaged labels when needed.Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong sales and marketing skills to promote products effectively, create compelling product listings, and drive online sales growth.Understanding of e-commerce principles, trends, and best practices, with a focus on online sales strategies.Basic technical proficiency to navigate online platforms, troubleshoot common issues, and collaborate effectively with IT teams.Proven ability to identify and solve problems related to online sales, order processing, and EDI transactions.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.At least two (2) years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), online sales, or a related field.
