Description
In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks Principal Software Engineers to support our rapidly growing engineering work developing and testing in support of the In-Flight Interceptor Communication Systems (IFICS) Data Terminal (IDT) and Phased Array IDT suite of products within the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems (GWS) program.
The candidate must have a current active DoD Secret Security clearance.
The work is performed at our customer site in Huntsville, AL.
Job Duties:•Creating and running unit test•Developing software documentation•Performing test planning, monitoring, and execution of test activities•Reviewing and verifying system level and software level requirements•Developing and executing automated software test cases in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline•Collaborating with Stakeholders and Government customer•Working within an Agile team environment, to include Iteration Planning, Feature and Story development, Sprint Planning, and Iteration Retrospectives.•Participating in demos for the team and program Sprint reviews
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering•2+ years of software engineering experience•Ada, C++/Java Software Development experience•Familiar with automated software requirements testing and analysis•Experience with Software Containerization and Orchestration•Familiar with DevSecOps and Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation•Familiar with Software Containerization and Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker)•Unix/Linux Operating System Experience•Understanding of Modeling and Simulation
Preferred Qualifications:•Experience using Agile Project management tools (Jira/Confluence)•Experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles•Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs and/or systems
