Duties and Responsibilities:
The Athletics Department is accepting applications for a Part-Time Athletics Compliance Assistant. The qualified candidate selected for this position will assist in the following capacities:
Support Associate Director of Internal Operations/ SWA in the daily operations of NCAA and conference rules complianceResponsible for understanding and implementing NCAA rules and regulations and AUM Athletics policiesAssist with the recruiting compliance process, including but not limited to eligibility information via the NCAA Eligibility Center, official and unofficial visits, and recruiting logsAssist in updates to Eligibility Certification Committee and coaches on status of prospective student-athletes through NCAA Eligibility CenterAssist in the maintenance of all NCAA , conference and institutional required formsEdit and maintain compliance-related forms and reports through SharePoint, ARMs and emailAssist with travel notice creation and issuance to student-athletes, faculty and coachesAssist in review of time management and countable athletic-related activityAssist in review and audit of data for graduation rates, academic progress census data, compliance assistant updates, ARMS roster updates, and cohort master listAssist in development of education-related resourcesProvide support on game day to execute duties to be compliant with expectations for a well-managed event that also adheres to NCAA rulesOther duties as assigned by the Athletics Compliance OfficeKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of applicable University practices and proceduresKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AccessInterpersonal skillsKnowledge of NCAA applications (CA, CA 2.0, Eligibility Center, Learning Portal, etc)Written communication skillsAbility to respond to multiple competing demandsAbility to use a computer and relevant software applicationsAbility to work with individuals from various backgroundsMinimum Qualifications:

High School DiplomaAvailable on nights and weekendsBased on funding source, cannot be or become AUM student while filling positionPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's DegreeExperience working with NCAA athletics compliance.
