Job Summary:The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for managing the financial actions of a company. The duties include tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Management

Financial Strategy and Planning : Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals. Collaborate with the executive team to create comprehensive business plans.

Budget Management : Oversee the preparation, approval, and monitoring of budgets. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial stability.

Financial Forecasting : Lead financial forecasting efforts, including revenue projections, expense forecasts, and cash flow analysis. Provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Financial Operations

Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial health. Optimize working capital and ensure efficient cash utilization.

Financial Reporting : Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.

Accounting Oversight : Supervise the accounting department to ensure accurate and compliant financial records. Implement and maintain effective accounting policies and procedures.

Risk Management

Risk Assessment : Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks. Develop risk management policies and strategies to safeguard the company’s assets.

Compliance : Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards. Oversee audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Internal Controls : Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.

Leadership and Team Management

Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a key liaison with stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory agencies. Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives. Provide financial insights and guidance to drive informed decision-making.

Performance Improvement

Cost Management : Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Monitor and control expenses to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Investment Management : Oversee the company’s investment portfolio. Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities that align with strategic goals.

Profitability Analysis : Conduct detailed profitability analysis to identify areas of improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance financial performance.

Strategic Growth

Capital Structure Management : Manage the company’s capital structure to optimize funding and cost of capital. Oversee debt and equity financing activities.

Market Expansion : Support market expansion initiatives through financial analysis and strategic planning. Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

Required Language(s) and Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Familiarity with international accounting standards and regulations.

Excellent command of English.

Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
