Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent VP Global Controller to join our team. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our global financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation. You will also be in charge of developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent VP Global Controller, you will be tasked with:

1. Overseeing all corporate accounting functions, including but not limited to, the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxes.
2. Managing and complying with local, state, federal, and international government reporting requirements and tax filings.
3. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
4. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
5. Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.
6. Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.
7. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
8. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
9. Managing and coordinating the annual financial audit process with external auditors.
10. Presenting financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
11. Staying up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
12. Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.
13. Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation (such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the finance industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
4. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
6. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. Demonstrated experience with GAAP, financial reporting, annual financial audit, and annual financial report.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
11. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
