Head of Business Operations North America

is responsible for overseeing the management team across regional manufacturing, supply chain, customer care and quality functions, along with driving relevant strategic infrastructure projects in the region. This role is expected to shape and implement the manufacturing vision and strategy, manage supply chain operations such as forecasting, purchasing, sourcing, and logistics, and guide the corporate quality department in leading process improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations.

This position will also develop and implement the supply chain strategy for North America together with central and regional functions. The development of strategies, processes and OKR's for operational excellence will also be a key part of this position.

What you will do:End-to-end process of the supply chain for North America (NAM) - ensure that the business and supply chain strategies are alignedAnalyses and optimizes the supply chain processes and set OKR'sDevelop talent and has leadership responsibility to manage teams and projectsAnalyze and develop the logistics network in NAMContribute as NAM Management team and Executive Leadership TeamBe part of the extended tesa Global Operations Network Management circleResponsible for leading strategic projects specific to (but not limited to) production, operations, supply chain, logistics to support the global and regional alignment around growth and profitabilityResponsible for the quality management system in NAMProvide purchasing support for NAMResponsible for production with the Head of Global OperationsSustainability, quality and delivery service, productivity and, at the center, the employee are the anchor points of the production philosophyOther duties as assignedWhat you will need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required with concentration in engineering/logistics/quality/business (advanced business and/or technical degree preferred)Five to ten years of market-relevant experience in similar or related fieldExcellent communication skills for interaction with all internal and external partiesMust be able to travel by air/auto as required
