DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:The Community Banking division includes our branch network and our Customer Care Center. While we are known for our commercial lending, our Community Banking team builds relationships supporting the personal finances for people that own the businesses in the DMV region. We provide full personal services for our commercial clients, including new account setup and maintenance, cash management products, and in-person assisted and automated transaction services.GENERAL SUMMARY:The

Head Teller

establishes, retains and deepens relationships with new and existing clients. Provides quality service to internal and external clients through effective and professional written and verbal communication. Processes teller transactions and balances cash accurately and efficiently. Resolves basic service issues by maintaining a developed working knowledge of basic bank products and services while referring more complex requests to appropriate colleagues or departments. Possesses strong knowledge of the platform and teller systems. Proactively and reactively contacts clients to identify additional banking needs to strengthen client relationships and meet cross-sell goals. Acts as point of contact with operations support areas in order to resolve teller transaction inquiries. Complies with policies, procedures, rules and regulations, and complete training requirements as warranted for the position.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Consistently provide excellent customer services to external and internal customers. Act as point person during problem resolution and accountable for customer follow up.Ensure the Branch is open and ready to conduct business.Delegate various operations duties to Tellers/CSRs while maintaining overall administrative responsibility.Receive and accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial related transactions (loan payments, prepare and sell cashier's checks, travelers checks, etc.) to customers. Accurately balance cash drawer and maintain high degree of accuracy while processing the transactions.Answer basic questions regarding EagleBank products and services.Responsible for recognizing and referring sales opportunities.Supervises and coaches teller/CSR staff to develop knowledge, skills and abilities.Follow all policies and procedures as they pertain to the performance of the position (Teller Manual, Security, BSA, CTR filing, etc.)Responsible for the preparation of cash shipments per procedures, ensuring adequate currency supplies at all times.Assist with duties performed under dual control, customer inquiries and research, check orders, etc.Accurately prepares the monthly audit package for review with Branch Relationship Manager/Branch Manager.Timely completion of all required training.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent.3 years of experience as a Bank Teller Required/Equivalent 2 years EagleBank progressive experience.Knowledge of Platform and Teller system.Exhibits professionalism with internal and external customers.General knowledge of deposit products and services.Knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and procedures.Strong math and computer data entry skills.General working knowledge of MS Office products.Don't meet all the requirements?
