A law firm in Alexandria, VA, is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring 6-10 years of litigation experience, holding Bar admission. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters, contribute to strategic decision-making, and advance the firm's litigation practice.Duties
Manage a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategies.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and legal support staff.Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and legal expertise.Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Bar admission in the state of Virginia.6-10 years of litigation experience.Proven track record of handling complex cases and achieving favorable outcomes.Certifications
Virginia State Bar Admission.Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
