We are a boutique law firm in the Beverly Hills area, looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing team! We're in search of a skilled legal expert to become part of our expanding team. Our firm, an established mid-sized plaintiff's firm, specializes primarily in employment law, employment and consumer class actions, and PAGA cases.The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide legal support to clients and assist attorneysOverseeing wage and hour class/PAGA actions as well as individual employment lawsuits from start to finish.Conducting thorough legal research and analysis, drafting various legal documents including motions, pleadings, and briefs, and representing clients in court hearings and trials.Maintain client relationshipsPrepare legal reports and documentsAttend court hearings and trialsCaseload Management: Carry your own caseload with complete autonomy, ensuring allcases are managed effectively and efficiently.Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of Associates, Paralegals, and Assistants,fostering a collaborative environment while driving case success.Motion Practice and Litigation: Ability to draft or supervise the drafting or winningarguments on key motions necessary to effectively litigate a matter, including motionsfor remand, oppositions to motions to compel arbitration, discovery motions, andmotions for class certification.Legal Strategy: Develop and implement legal strategies aimed at resolving casesfavorably and cost-effectively for clients.Depositions and Conferences: Take and manage depositions, and conduct meet andconfers to advance case objectives.Mediation and Negotiations: Help prepare for and participate in mediation, andotherwise assist in negotiations to resolve employment matters on a class or individualbasis as appropriate.QualificationsLaw degree from an ABA-accredited law schoolCA Bar in good standing5+ years of employment law experience
