POSITION SUMMARY

As the Director, Sales Solutions you are responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing the sales team to achieve the company's growth objectives. This role will provide leadership in managing client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and optimizing sales operations to deliver results. The Sales Director will collaborate with technology, product marketing, and operations teams to prioritize client experience and value, while maximizing market share and profitability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Responsibilities:Client-Centric Focus: Develop a deep understanding of client needs and behaviors throughout the entire lifecycle to optimize the client experience, increase conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and retention.Sales Team Leadership: Build, lead, and manage a high-performing sales team, including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), inside sales, and outside sales, to achieve both short-term and long-term sales goals.Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate growth strategies in collaboration with the executive team, focusing on both immediate and future sales objectives.Revenue Growth: Drive profitable sales growth in IGEN's legacy business of excise tax compliance by increasing market share and optimizing profit margins.Market Expansion: Work with the Product Marketing and Strategy teams, clients, partners, and other stakeholders to identify, target, and position IGEN's Compliance Dashboard in adjacent markets.Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data to ensure effective decision-making that leads to market share and revenue growth. Identify and drive the data needs required to support this effort.Channel Strategy: Develop, build, and manage a channel strategy across integration partners, complementary software applications, and Powered by IGEN accounting firms.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Marketing and Marketing teams to provide real-time market feedback that guides product development prioritization, price optimization, and product positioning.Client Communication: Collaborate with Client Experience teams to ensure effective communication and execution across functions, maximizing client retention, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities.Strategic Deal Engagement: Engage in strategic deals and influence deal structures to benefit the company's growth and profitability.Sales Process Optimization: Implement and manage a sales process aligned with market buying behaviors that delivers predictable, continuously improved, and scalable results.Team Education: Establish processes and collateral to educate the internal team on market opportunities, product differentiation, and value messaging to clients.Product Roadmap Partnership: Collaborate with the product technology team to contribute to the creation and execution of the product technology roadmap.Leadership Values: Uphold and promote the company's values, including Climbing Together, Making Bold Moves, and Bringing the Extra, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.Personal Development: Demonstrate an insatiable drive for personal development, both for yourself and your team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.Compliance and Safety: Support corporate efforts in safety, government compliance, and adherence to all company policies and procedures.Cultivate U.S. Venture's values while inspiring, empowering, recognizing, and guiding team membersLive our values of High Performance, Caring Relationships, Strategic Foresight, and Entrepreneurial SpiritFind A Better Way by championing continuous improvement and quality control efforts to identify opportunities to innovate and improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardizationContinuously learn and develop self professionallySupport corporate efforts for safety, government compliance, and all other company policies & proceduresPerform other related duties as required and assignedQUALIFICATIONS

Required:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.5+ years of participation in strategic development, and experience business development, or channel management.3+ years of sales leadership experience.Proven track record in developing and executing successful revenue generation strategies.Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively in various settings.Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.Strong passion for technology and a keen understanding of business strategy.Broad understanding of usability and user experience best practices.Experience in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to drive business decisions.Ability to take high-level visions and work through the details to bring them to life.High-level collaboration skills to drive change and results.U.S. Venture requires that a team member have and maintain authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
