Problem-solver that performs financial analysis, reporting, and treasury related responsibilities, applying relevant principles and concepts. Updates and maintains various model files in a controlled and reliable manner, assists with various treasury tasks, performs ad hoc and recurring analyses, assists the Accounting team, and provides finance-related support to team members across the Bank. Works to comply with external reporting requirements of the various regulatory agencies.RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES -
essential job functions include but are not limited to:Assists with the maintenance of various Finance data models, including ALCO, Finance, Financial Reporting, and others.Prepares monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc analysis files and management reports, including validating data to source files, performing various calculations, reviewing user entitlements, tracking open bank regulatory and audit findings, and other tasks as needed.Assists with the maintenance of the Bank’s securities portfolio, including purchases, sells, and pledging activity as well as monthly accounting and analysis.Assists with the forecasting and strategic planning process, including gathering assumption inputs, updating relevant files, preparing presentations, and analyzing variances.Attends management meetings as needed and assists with maintaining meeting minutes.Acts as a back-up for Accounting team members as needed.Assists with the quarterly balance sheet account reconciliation process.Assists with the maintenance of the Finance policies and procedures.Assists with the maintenance of the Bank’s Vendor Management process.Performs a variety of related clerical duties and completes special projects for management as assigned, including participation in the development/maintenance of monthly and annual reports, automated accounting system reports, budget reports, and development/maintenance of intricate Excel spreadsheets.Assist and participates in preparing financial data for the bank’s quarterly federal and state call reports, annual consolidated balance sheet, statements of income, statements of change in capital, and statement of changes in financial position, and annual budget.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A strong understanding of banking GAAP accounting concepts.Must be capable of independently problem-solving challenges while working with other departments across the bank.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to prioritize and schedule work and projects and exercise judgment within boundaries of individual assignments.Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of multiple managers.Business-related communication with all level personnel and branch managers.The Bank is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and does not discriminate with regard to applicants or employees with disabilities, and will make reasonable accommodation when necessary.
