As Senior Manager, Cargo Business Development, you are a strategic and industry-savvy leader with deep transportation and maritime expertise, who excels in creating revenue-generating marketing strategies, forging key alliances, and supervising teams. Combining strong analytical and communication skills, you foster collaboration and adapt to a dynamic industry, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and achieving Massport's mission of ensuring the growth and success of the Port of Boston.What you will do:Develop and integrate Maritime Sales and Marketing plans, collaborating with industry leaders and port users.Manage staffing, budgets, and procedures, setting performance standards.Create revenue-focused marketing strategies, analyze industry data, and promote initiatives.Address shipping industry issues, recommend solutions, and enhance customer service through collaboration with Conley Operations.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience.5-10 years’ sales and marketing experience with increasing responsibilities in the transportation industry.Proficient in computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Datamyne/Piers, etc.) and market research tools (Alphaliner/Bluewater), and Outlook.Familiar with trends and economics in ocean, truck, and intermodal transportation.Collaboration with colleagues at all levels of leadership from all different disciplines, from Aviation to Maritime and beyond.
