Salary:The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $210,000 DOE.
Summary:The CFO is a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for optimizing financial planning and accounting practices, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and reporting on business activities.
Responsibilities:
Oversee treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities.Synthesize information into concise presentations and reports for the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.Partner with Senior Leadership Team and Finance Committee for presentations and monthly reporting to the Board.Oversee the implementation of a new ERP system focusing on data accuracy and financial reporting.Lead the Finance/Accounting team toward cohesion and implement performance metrics.Manage the preparation of reports summarizing and forecasting business activity and financial position.Coordinate the preparation of the organization’s annual 990 Tax return.Manage A-133 audits and grant compliance.Advise on operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.Build relationships with banks and financial institutions for financing opportunities.Exhibit executive presence under pressure and tight deadlines.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent business experience with at least 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience.Experience in construction, retail, or non-profit organizations is a plus.High level of written and oral communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:CPA or Certified Management Accountant certification preferred.
