The headings in this Job Description are for convenience only.FunctionsThe Hull Mechanical and Electrical Systems (HM&E) Jr Instructor / Developer is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of the HM&E Design Documentation for the OPC program.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.Supports the development of HM&E Factory Acceptance Training (FAT) and submits for USCG approval.Supports the development of and executes the curriculum for HM&E Familiarization (FAM) Training.Satisfy all HM&E Training delivery as defined by the Contract.Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.Interface with Training Management to ensure training needs are understood.Support Human System Integration (HSI) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE) testing.Perform other duties as instructed.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Reporting RelationshipThis position will report to the OPC HM&E Training Manager.QualificationsEducation/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in the marine industry with a minimum of 1-year prior training experience desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. USCG or USN Shipboard Training Team, Damage Control Training Team, Navy Electronics Engineering Training, or Marine Engineering desired. Multiple operational afloat tours are desired. Formal Military Instructor credentials and current compliance with USCG regulations are a plus.Skills:

Intermediate level Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Ability to read and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, professional documents, Company policies/procedures, and governmental regulations. Must have accurate written and verbal communication skills to carry out and understand assignments, and/or convey or exchange routine information. Ability to rapidly obtain, sort, filter, and analyze large volumes of data.Behavioral Attributes:
