A law firm in Folsom, CA, seeks a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, prepare and argue motions for summary judgment, attend court hearings, and address escalated and time-sensitive matters as needed.Duties:Handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment.Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person.Prepare and argue motions for summary judgment.Manage an assigned caseload to meet goals and client expectations.Handle escalated and time-sensitive matters as needed.Perform other duties and special projects as required.Requirements:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in California; multi-jurisdiction admission in AZ, CA, NV, and TX preferred.Experience with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong research skills, including the use of legal and non-legal sources.Proficiency in software tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.Timely identification and resolution of problems.Conscientious concerning work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance.Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to work at a fast pace.Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.Strong work ethic and willingness to adapt to change.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in California (multi-jurisdiction admission preferred).Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication.Strong research capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.Problem-solving and organizational skills.Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to work quickly.Job Location:
