Weare seeking a skilled Academic HR Analyst to join our team and in this role youwill be responsible for recommending, developing, implementing, administering,coordinating, and/or evaluating Academic Human Resources policies, laborcontracts, statutes, programs, and procedures covering one or more of thefollowing: academic recruitment, appointment, and advancement; compensation andsalary administration; faculty welfare programs; visa procurement; benefits;payroll; training and development; faculty misconduct; and faculty equity.Salary offers are determined based on various factors including,but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. UCLA Health hourlysalary range for this position is $26.10 - $49.38.Qualifications
Required
:Bachelor'sdegree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.Acquiringknowledge of and ability to apply / interpret organization and college policiesand procedures which govern academic HR.Acquiringknowledge of organization, college, and departmental formal and informalpolicies and procedures, and understanding of variances to stated policies.Acquiringknowledge of organization's human resource management system (HRMS) and otherrelated business software programs and systems.Acquiringknowledge of unit academic culture and educational goals of discipline(s)served.Analyticalskills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstratingorganizational and problem-solving skills.Skillsto communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
