AIDS service organization seeks a Client Services Director, preferably a Licensed Clinical Social Worker experienced with HIV/Ryan White grant funding.
Description:
The Client Services Director oversees all social work activities, including Case Management and Mental Health, and coordinates all Ryan White services. This is a hands-on administrative role with a focus on grant preparation, reporting, quality management, and program development/management.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
Demonstrated experience in program planning/administration and staff supervision.
Hands-on experience with non-profit grant writing.
Demonstrated functional abilities using MS-Windows, MS-Office, databases, and client record systems.
Experience working with HIV+ clients with substance abuse/mental health issues in community settings.
Professional manner, solid organizational and leadership skills, strong and culturally appropriate communication skills, high regard for personal and professional boundaries.
Demonstrated strength in oral and written communication, interpersonal relations, and personnel management.
Knowledge of health insurance and medical billing.
The ability to juggle multiple tasks in a collaborative and cooperative team setting.
Comfortable working in an advocacy-based non-profit agency.
Preferred:
MSW with macro focus and LICSW.
Experience with Ryan White funding and HIV support services.
Knowledge and demonstrated ability using HRSA CAREWare client data system.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for Case Management, Mental Health, and Peer Support programs; assist with Coexist program as needed.
In conjunction with Executive Director, provide hands-on grant writing for new proposals and renewals.
Hands-on development/growth of client services programs and investigation/implementation of supportive funding streams.
Supervise Case Management Supervisor, Mental Health staff, and student interns.
Provide clinical support to mental health therapists, overseeing client cases and issues.
Maintain a community network of medical and social service providers to deliver comprehensive, culturally appropriate standards of care.
Oversee the development and implementation of goals/objectives and standards of care outlined by Ryan White grants, including development and adherence to CQM plan and CQI.
Coordinate the submission of billing to grantors, Medicaid, and other insurances as appropriate.
Oversee the implementation and monitoring of client support groups.
In conjunction with Executive Director, monitor fiscal expenditures and grant-based budgets.
Collect, analyze and report on all client data, in support of day-to-day business operations and grantor requirements.
Manage CAREWare data collection and reporting on outcomes and benchmarks, including annual RSR submission.
Interact professionally with grantors such as federal HRSA, RI DOH, and EOHHS.
