The Films Production Shuttle Driver will take direction from the Transporation Manager in safely operating a 15-passenger shuttle van and on-set golf carts.
This is a short-term, contracted position, expected to last approximately 2 - 3 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Shuttling cast and crew between multiple locations including hotels, parking areas, and on-set transfersOperating on-set golf carts to transport cast/crew and equipment to various locations within the production area.Staying in communication with the Transportation Manager via radio throughout the production day.Prerequisites :
Experience driving a 15-passenger vehicle or larger.Current driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to remain patient while "on-call" in a "hurry up and wait" environment.Pleasant demeanor with an others-focused attitude.Ability to work a flexible schedule.
This hourly position will allow for a schedule of 20-40 hours per week depending on production schedules and driver availability. Late evenings and early mornings should be expected. Compensation will be paid at a rate of $275 per 12-hour day. Days less than 12 hours will be prorated using an hourly rate of $19.64, and days longer than 12 hours will have an overtime rate calculated on the same hourly rate.
