Business Development Manager - New England

with Inclusive Collection. In this role, you will be responsible for HIC's sales and business growth with travel agencies/agents within a given geographical region. You will identify, develop, and maintain travel agency/agent relationships, implement tactical and strategic plans with agencies, provide product training, and escort travel agent FAMS. You will also participate in travel trade conferences, and events, representing and promoting the Inclusive Collection.

A successful Business Development Manager - New England will:

Develop and maintain excellent commercial communication with travel agency accounts identifying and responding to growth opportunitiesIdentify new accounts and onboard those accounts with the Inclusive Collection through a variety of processes including sales calls, training, Rewards and FAMSAttend in the BDM's region, nationally and overseas as required sales conferences and travel industry events promoting the Inclusive Collection and seeking new contacts/opportunitiesUndertake Inclusive Collection product training and AMRagents.com resource training with travel agents through sales calls, webinars, events, sales blitzes etc.Maintain a local budget and optimize its use for local sales opportunities and eventsManage full use of SalesForce the Inclusive Collections sales CRM, logging sales calls, entering competitive information, opportunities etc. as a part of standardized procedureCommunicate fully and openly with the Regional Sales Manager with weekly 1-on-1 meetings and monthly planning and review meetingsDemonstrate a commitment to ALG core valuesThe position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent work experience in a sales/marketing capacity2-3 years in field sales and business development within the travel industryProficiency in Microsoft office suite skills; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointPossess a driver's license & current passportStrong communication and presentation abilities, approachability, curiosity and organizational skillsAbility to travel domestic and overseas as required, this could occupy up to 75% per monthAbout ALG Vacations:
