Our client is an established technology company that needs an experienced Senior Accounting Manager with strong financial accounting, budget management, asset, and tax accounting experience to oversee corporate accounting, human resources, and payroll.Job Description:

With strong financial and personnel management skills and excellent attention to detail, the Senior Accounting Manager will manage the monthly and yearly financial and personnel operations with accuracy and governmental compliance. The Senior Accounting Manager possesses excellent accounting and communication skills while working with vendors and internal team members to ensure the timely implementation of budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, and HR processing. Additional responsibilities for the Senior Accounting Manager include the following:Responsibilities:Ensure client receipt of all monthly invoices based on their preferred method of receipt (email, postal mail, portal upload).Follow-up on collection of past-due invoices using an existing escalation workflow.Prepare quarterly financial statements for the company, including balance sheet, income statement (budget vs. actual with variance notes), accounts receivable, and accounts payable.Prepare quarterly variance reports.Coordinate periodic close process.Review financial statements.Prepare year-end financial statements for review by the COO.Assist with preparation of annual tax packages to provide to tax preparers.Prepare insurance audit.Process city, state, and federal tax payments.Prepare annual 401k audit and associated reports.Prepare annual company budget for the next fiscal year for review by the COO.Daily reconciliation of all bank accounts.Create and run payroll.Process credit card payments.Administer employee benefits (401k, commuter, health insurance).Administer vendor portals for invoicing and COI compliance.Customer and vendor administration.Employee onboarding/offboarding.Sales tax payments (multi-state).Assist the COO with ad hoc reports and analysis.Monitor cash position of the company.Ensure proper coding of vendor invoices and accounts payable.Assist in establishing and implementing financial processes for reporting and operational policies.Assist with maintenance, modifications, or setup of finance system(s) of record.Qualifications:5+ years of experience with a BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.NetSuite and Gusto experience preferred.Public accounting and/or a CPA preferred.Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and related work experience required.Benefits:PTO, PST, Medical, Dental, and Vision.Compensation:$100K - $125K/yr.
