Job SummaryWe are seeking to hire a talented Sr Director of FP&A to lead our corporate financial planning team in Ogden, UT. The group serves as financial and strategic partner to business leaders across the company, managing the financial planning process and providing actionable insights in order to drive company profitability. This is a high impact role, with significant executive interaction, and reports to the SVP Finance.

Full-time position

Salary Range $140-$165k, DOE (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

Own the Finance partnership across business departments, cultivating a strong working relationship and taking joint responsibility for financial performance.

Lead monthly P&L reviews, recapping results, providing insights and explaining variances.

Lead the annual budget preparation process, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.

Own forecasting process incorporating current business trends and planned strategies.

Maintain an accurate rolling 13 week cash forecast model.

Lead ad hoc analysis and decision support, with ability to determine appropriate methodology, execute analysis, and package business case for presentation to senior leadership.

Proactively identify, develop and implement enhancements to existing reporting and KPIs to keep organization apprised of performance.

Manage and develop a high-performing team of analysts, providing guidance, prioritization, and leadership that fosters a culture of excellence and accountability.

Enhance communication and accountability between the various departments and executive management.

Contribute to monthly board meeting material via analysis and identification of pertinent storylines.

EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

Deep experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, trend analysis, and ad hoc analysis.

Progressive career track record in Corporate Finance, Operations Finance and FP&A.

Proven experience leading and developing teams within the finance function.

Strong team player who will exemplify collaboration across functions.

Presence to interact with and influence senior leadership.

Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business outcomes and delivering actionable insights.

Experience within an operations heavy business and/or a multi-site business model is desirable.

Familiarity with Netsuite or Planful a plus.
