The Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager for the West Coast will manage the recruitment strategy and processes for their regional population. This is a highly visible, critical role within the Human Resources team. The role is focused on Talent Acquisition but can also include exposure to responsibilities of Employee Relations, Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion. The role directly manages full cycle recruitment for Retail Store Management, Metro, and Regional level roles and has oversight of full cycle recruitment for the entire permanent and temporary positions within the dedicated West Coast Region. The role will additionally help support centralized talent acquisition and development initiatives and projects.Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Leadership

Build strong relationships with Regional VP(s), Regional Sr. HR Director, and all relevant business partners.Establish strong relationships with hiring managers, internal and external candidates, and HR team members while managing full cycle recruitment for permanent and non-permanent roles.Build proactive pipeline development strategies for future openings with EDI at the forefront of the functional responsibilities.Coach and educate hiring managers on effective interviewing and assessment and facilitate recruitment trainings in partnership with TA Specialist.Champion employer branding efforts and participate in recruitment and networking events on behalf of the brand.Lead Talent Acquisition projects for the Region(s), in addition to support of zone TA and HR projects where required.Partner with the hiring managers in mapping out the recruitment needs for their open positions and leveraging this information to target best in class talent.Deliver at all times a seamless candidate experience for all applicants.Represent the brand in all group meetings related to recruitment and actively participate in recruitment networks, where applicable.Manage and motivate the team to drive TA forward: create a positive work environment, empower the team, encourage innovative solutions, with DEI as the lens and at the forefront of the work.Recruitment Cycle Management

Manage hiring for Store Manager/Director, Metro and Regional level roles from start to finish, ensuring match to business and culture.Ensure legal compliance throughout the recruitment process.Identify and develop job descriptions for open positions in partnership with hiring managers.Identify and interview internal candidates for open positions in partnership with HR leaders.Oversight of recruitment strategy, managing fully in-house.Prepare compensation proposal requests and negotiate employment offers.Leverage TA insight on competitive landscape in respective markets.Talent map and understand key players in luxury and non-luxury.Build recruitment strategy for all open positions and manage process fully in-house.Source, identify and interview candidates to ensure a match for business needs and culture.Coordinate background checks for applicants and manage interview scheduling.Prepare compensation proposal requests and negotiate employment offers.Facilitate new hire onboarding process and assist, where applicable, with onboarding and induction.Respond to all hiring inquiries to positively represent our brand.Create management new hire announcements for RVP Communication.Principal Skills, Knowledge, And Personal Attributes Required

The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic recruitment background, ideally with experience in high volume recruitment and retail recruitment.Talent acquisition best practices and HR Generalist or Organizational Development experience can be helpful. This is a Senior Manager level position that requires both strategic consultative support to the business as well as operational tasks. The role allows for insight and relationship building across all levels within the population.Education

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.Work Experience

A minimum of 7+ years of strong and progressively responsible Talent Acquisition Management Experience is required, with exposure to retail, luxury or consumer products strongly preferred.Skills

Knowledge of retail business (preferably high-end luxury goods).Knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practices and regulations.High volume recruitment experience required as well as in-house qualitative recruitment experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with autonomy managing multiple priorities.Excellent interpersonal and communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills.Strong ability to drive for results without compromising ethics and quality.Strong ability to make sound and mature judgement calls and deal effectively and proactively in ambiguity within a business context.Proven track record in sourcing (internally and externally) and recruiting candidates.Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.Computer skills (MS Office preferred) including applicant tracking system.
