Regional Outreach Coordinator (Program Analyst 2)Job Description:The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Outreach Coordinator (ROC) to join an excellent team. This is a Full-Time, Limited Duration (Up to 24 months), Classified Represented position with the External Relations Division.The AA Salary Range for this position is between $4,998.00 to $7,647.00 per month.What you will do!There is one position available to serve the Metro Region, which includes Multnomah and Clackamas Counties.As a Regional Outreach Coordinator (ROC), your primary purpose is to engage, provide training and support to community partners who wish to assist Oregonians in enrolling in the Oregon Health Plan and helping them navigate the health care system. You will work in a team community environment reaching out to targeted communities and constituencies, developing new partnerships while supporting existing ones. The ROC will provide ongoing training, technical support, and will nurture partnerships by disseminating information about Medicaid, OHP, navigation, and access to health care services. It will also inform community partners and stakeholders on policy changes and the possible implications and benefits for constituents.Conduct community engagement presentations to communities statewide, including members from the most vulnerable and marginalized populations in Oregon. The ROC will also facilitate training and presentations regarding OHP, health care topics, social determinants of health, policy, and other topics to stakeholders and community partners, including Coordinated Care Organizations, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, health care providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, School Boards, and other government agencies. Occasionally, the ROC will present at national or statewide level conferences representing OHA/ERD/CPOP/State of Oregon.As needed, the ROC will provide input on operational process improvement opportunities regarding programming and other processes related to the Community Partner Outreach Program.What's in it for you?We offer a workplace that balances productivity with enjoyment, promoting an atmosphere of mutual respect, dedication, and enthusiasm.
