Senior Accountant

LHH is working with an amazing Financial Services company located in San Jose who is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join the team. They are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial statements and the month end process.Responsibilities:Assist with the month-end financial close process, including, but not limited to the preparation of journal entries, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, and variance analysisPrepare and analyze data from CRM and export/import into general ledgerEnsure accurate revenue recognition and provide revenue projections for programsRecord all expensesBuild reports and dashboards to track and analyze resultsProvide support and assistance with year-end close, annual audit and tax return preparationWork closely with department leads to review monthly budget to actual variancesProvide support with monthly activity reconciliationsPrepare bank accounts reconciliationsAssist with projects as requiredRequirements:Degree in Accounting/Business/FinanceMinimum 5 years' experience in Accounting and FinanceFinancial Services industry experience preferredStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesDemonstrated problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail, professional, and a team playerAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEmployment type:
