Job Details:

Our company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Controller to lead our financial department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technology environment and is eager to drive financial success within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial systems, including the creation of financial statements, compliance, and regulations, as well as budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting principles and regulations.
2. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
3. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
4. Develop and manage the company’s budget and forecast, providing detailed and accurate financial projections.
5. Conduct annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various department heads to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
6. Oversee revenue recognition, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
7. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
8. Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary information and facilitating audit processes.
9. Manage company cash flow and cash management systems, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
10. Oversee all tax planning and compliance activities, working closely with external tax advisors.
11. Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability.
12. Manage and optimize the use of ERP systems for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience with GAAP and other relevant accounting principles and regulations.
4. Proven experience in preparing and presenting financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
5. Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, cash management, and taxation.
6. Proficiency in using ERP systems such as Quickbooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
7. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
