JOB SUMMARY:

Blue Bird is seeking a dynamic and highly analytical Pricing and Sales Operations Manager to optimize and execute pricing strategies and provide administrative support for the field sales team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive and implement pricing strategies that will contribute directly to the financial success of Blue Bird.

This role will be responsible for building pricing proposals & presentations for Sr. Management, driving and implementing pricing strategies and supporting the field sales team with various administrative tasks required to ensure our organization meets and exceeds annual targets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pricing:Drive and implement pricing strategies to improve profitability while maintaining market shareTrack pricing performance by monitoring competitor pricing, market trends and quote metrics to assess and analyze pricing strategiesCollaborate with Sales, Finance and Purchasing to continuously improve and optimize existing pricing modelsLead continuous improvement initiatives related to the current pricing process that improves accuracy and throughputPrepare and present state bid proposals in collaboration with Sales to Sr. Management

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence

Maintain market pricing database to understand industry dynamics and identify opportunities to refine existing pricing modelsStandardize department tracking reports for dealer and fleet sales by tracking monthly KPIsLeverage ACT/S&P Registration data to provide insights and opportunities related to pricing

Sales OperationsProvide month end reporting for the Sales Department to handoff to FinanceManagement of all Sales related IT project requestsOrganize the onboarding schedule for new members of the Sales teamManage ad hoc requests related to pricing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Problem-Solving: ability to understand and communicate complex pricing topics with the ability to analyze and make informed decisionsAnalytical Skills: ability to summarize complex data sets and provide actionable intel to drive long-term valueEffective communication with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner to different audiencesAttention to detail with high level of accuracy in executionKnowledge in Python, R and/or SQLCapable of managing confidential and proprietary informationStrong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookStrong time management, organizational and record keeping skillsEDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE :

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Compute Science or any other related analytical field; MBA a plusMinimum 5 years of relevant pricing, analytical, finance or consulting experience requiredConsistent track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies in a commercial roleStrong technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint to build out proposals and business casesStrong knowledge in BI tools, i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.CRM experience a plus, i.e. HubSpot or SalesforceWE VALUE
