As a leading staffing firm, we are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a full-time, direct hire position with one of our prestigious clients. In this crucial role, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will help execute accounting policies and ensure the production of timely and accurate financial statements.

What You'd Be Doing:Accounting Operations:

Manage daily accounting functions for two legal entities, including journal entries, general ledger analysis, fixed assets, expense analysis, and bank transactions.Month-End Closure:

Handle all month-end activities according to the closing schedule, which includes preparation of journal entries, results analysis, GL account reconciliations, and the production of financial statements and management reports.Financial Reporting and Audits:

Generate monthly financial reporting for two legal entities and assist in the coordination and completion of annual audits.Support and Guidance:

Act as a supportive figure for the site's finance team by providing guidance and hands-on support for accounting and operations personnel.Continuous Improvement:

Assist in establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles, and recommend system and procedure enhancements.You're Probably a Match If You Have:Extensive knowledge and application of accounting principles (US-GAAP), practices, standards, laws, and regulations.Proven ability in using Oracle Enterprise Business System software, preparing financial statements and reports, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Experience in supply chain and inventory management.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact collaboratively with team members across functions.BSBA degree in accounting with 5-10 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a role with similar responsibilities.Preferred Qualifications:CPA Certification.Experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on sales/use tax preparation and familiarity with Concur software.A Glimpse of What We Offer:The opportunity to join our client's team in a full-time, direct hire capacity within a prestigious, service-oriented environment that values long-term employee growth.Competitive compensation package, reflective of your experience and skills.Comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunitiesBenefits
