General Function:

This position demands a unique blend of business and technical savvy, technical POS experience and relationship management skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, and managing projects designed to increase company scalability and efficiencies. The five main roles of the project manager include project planning, resource management, risk management, communication management and quality management.

Duties and Responsibilities:Setting and managing client expectationsDeveloping a detailed project planDefining the scope of a project including cost involvedUnderstanding a projects riskAssigning appropriate resourcesManaging work-flows to complete projects on time and within budgetEvaluate and prioritize multiple projectsCreating long- and short-term plans, aligning with corporate goalsPrioritizing projects to meet corporate goalsAbility to set targets for milestones, track progress and adhering to deadlinesDelegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete themMaking effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the projectUsing project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherenceOrganizing meetings to discuss project goals and progressServing as a point of contact for teams when multiple departments are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergyCommunicating with executives to keep the project aligned with their goalsPerforming quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expectedAdjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changeQualifications
