IT Project ManagerHybrid in Cleveland, OH6-month Contract to Hire**Unable to do C2C or Provide Sponsorship**Overview:The Project Manager ensures the alignment of portfolio projects with the organization's strategic objectives and oversees their execution within set parameters. This role involves evaluating project health, identifying improvement areas, and contributing to project execution. The Project Manager facilitates communication across stakeholders, ensures project goals are endorsed, generates executive-level reports, monitors performance metrics, and delivers data-driven insights to senior leadership.Core Responsibilities and TasksDashboard and Report ManagementDevise and maintain project-focused dashboards and reports to communicate status, highlight performance indicators, and monitor financial tracking.Program ManagementFormulate, apply, and maintain program management regulations, procedures, and benchmarks.Progress TrackingTrack and report on the progress of various initiatives/projects within the program.Remove impediments/blockages to ensure smooth project progress.Project LiaisonAct as the single point of contact for designated projects concerning timeline adjustments and resource allocation.Scrum FacilitationFacilitate all scrum events in the program, such as sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.Backlog ManagementAid in managing the backlog for projects, ensuring backlog items are well-defined, correctly prioritized, and ready for implementation.Project Reviews and CommunicationGuide regular project reviews and progress meetings.Ensure proper communication and documentation of project performance, potential risks, and problems.Position Requirements5+ years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles.Proficiency in Project Management Methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence across teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of data management practices and principles and their incorporation into project management activities.Understanding of the technical project lifecycle and phases, including SDLC.Bachelors degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field, or at least 6 years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Data Analytics and Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Microstrategy).Familiarity with Big Data Concepts (e.g., Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL databases).Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and Technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).Expertise in Data Management or Analytics Software (e.g., Informatica, IBM, Oracle).Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).ABOUT EIGHT ELEVEN:At Eight Eleven, our business is people.
