Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to determine event requirements and objectivesDevelop event concepts and themes that align with client preferencesCoordinate and manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor agreements, and equipment rentalsCreate and maintain event budgets, ensuring all expenses are recorded and trackedManage event timelines and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely mannerSource and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure the best possible rates and servicesCoordinate event marketing and promotional activities to attract attendeesOversee event setup and breakdown, including coordinating with venue staff and managing event staff or volunteersConduct post-event evaluations and analyze feedback to continually improve event planning and execution processesSkills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related fieldProven experience as an event coordinator or similar roleExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong multitasking and time management abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in event management software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of current industry trends and best practicesAbility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required for event schedulesBenefits
