The United Jewish Federation of Tidewater/Simon Family JCC, a leading nonprofit agency located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, seeks a proven experienced candidate for the position of Director of Human Resources.
The Director of Human Resources serves as an integral member of the professional leadership team, under the direction of the Executive Vice President/CEO, and is responsible for the development and implementation of human resource policies for the agency covering areas such as recruitment and hiring, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
Additionally, the Director of HR is responsible for all HR functional areas for the Tidewater Jewish Foundation and the UJFT Community Campus, LLC (aka, Sandler Family Campus).
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field required from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years demonstrated progressive leadership experience in all HR functional areas. Master’s degree preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential strongly desired.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
