The work involves the primary responsibility for providing customer service and administrative support to the operations of the Child Support Department, adhering to all Federal, State and local confidentiality requirements. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Administrative Officer with some leeway for independent judgement within the framework of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in the performance of duties, both in terms of planning and accomplishing work, and in making decisions regarding customer needs. Work experience in a Child Support services agency and/or providing service in a clerical or front desk setting is preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSPossession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina for the type of vehicle or equipment operated is required. Prefer current Notary of Public certification at hire or the ability to obtain within six-months of hire. All offers of employment are conditional upon successful clearance of a Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Check. Duties cannot commence until the employee has been cleared.
