Job Summary:The academic Department of Marketing within the College of Business and Economics is committed to leading business education through program quality, balancing theory and practice, and expanding our outreach and visibility. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Marketing Department Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator II).

About the Position:The Marketing Department Coordinator provides support to the Chair, Personnel Committee, Curriculum Committee, Recruitment Committee, Scholarship Committee, and Center Directors. Responsibilities include:

Providing administrative support to the department and centers.

Ensuring the operations of the department office run smoothly.

Assisting the department chair with oversight of administrative support staff.

Monitoring department and center budgets and preparing reports.

Coordinating faculty searches as needed.

Managing hiring processes for part-time lecturers and student workers.

Developing and updating schedules.

Coordinating the purchase of office equipment, supplies, and furniture.

Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and five years of progressively responsible experience in general office, clerical, or secretarial work.

Comprehensive knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

Thorough mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Expertise in using office software packages, technology, and systems.

Ability to independently handle multiple priorities and projects.
