Human Resources Director
Healthcare – Chicago Heights, IL
The Human Resources Director will provide human resource functions to the facility including employee recruitment, retention, benefits administration, and personnel policies as well as processing bi-weekly payroll. The ideal candidate for this position is an outgoing, self-starter with the ability to multitask. Experience as a Human Resources Manager in a long-term care facility is required.
Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll.
Reconcile timecards.
Maintain accurate, neat, organized employee files in accordance with federal regulations.
Act as a liaison to the employees and administration.
Educate facility personnel on policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate OSHA files in accordance with current regulations.
Organize and conduct general orientation.
Oversee the full cycle recruitment activities.
Processing candidate reference checks, background checks, and License Verification.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent degree preferred.
4-5 years of experience in Human Resource Management or management of personnel.
Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
Expertise in State and Federal Employment Laws.
Prior experience in long-term care required.
