Lil Cooperstown Bar and Grill is seeking a dedicated industry professional to join our team!
Lil Cooperstown Bar and Grill has two popular neighborhood locations serving gastro-pub fare, beer, wine and craft cocktails. We specialize in gourmet burgers and sandwiches, feature seasonal specials and are a popular happy hour destination! We serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, and breakfast/brunch on the weekends.
The General Manager oversees and manages all restaurant operations for the West Linn location and is part of the company’s management team, managing operations for the entire company.
Job Duties:
Manage West Linn location including the following:
Recruit, hire, schedule, train and supervise front of house employees
Assist with recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training and supervision of back of house employees by Kitchen Manager
Assist on the floor as needed to ensure excellent service experience for customers
Maintain front of house product inventory and order as needed
Maintain food and labor cost with appropriate percentages of revenue
Oversee lottery operations including completing lottery reports and making cash deposits
Maintain and track cash in premises in accordance with company policy
Ensure maintenance and correct operation of all equipment and systems by contacting appropriate service provider as needed
Manage Company Operations as part of the Management Team:
Periodically update restaurant menus in cooperation with the Kitchen Managers, including seasonal specials, special holiday or event menus, price adjustments, and other modifications, including POS system updates.
Spearhead and manage company marketing including website and online presence, print media, signage, advertising, promotions and community engagement as appropriate.
Experience and Skills:
Previous full-service restaurant management experience required.
Front and back of house experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Proficient in cash management and reporting without error
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Toast POS system and 7 Shifts experience preferred
Must have a food handler’s card and an OLCC service permit
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel between locations
Compensation:
Base Salary of $70,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience, plus the opportunity for tips.
