LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our clients team as a Healthcare Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing support and assistance to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a strong desire to help others navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. Key Responsibilities:
Responding to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding appointments, medical records, billing, insurance coverage, and healthcare servicesProviding guidance and assistance to patients in understanding their healthcare benefits, treatment plans, and medication instructionsCoordinating with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and resolve issues efficientlyEducating patients on available resources, support programs, and community servicesMaintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulationsCollaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and concernsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare settingKnowledge of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and healthcare regulationsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populationsProficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records softwareCompassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their familiesAbility to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environmentWorking Hours:
Monday-Friday40 hours per week8:30am-5:00pm
Details:
Onsite13 week contract with possibility to be extendedLocated in Kearny Mesa, San DiegoCompensation $20.00-$22.00 per hour (DOE)
