Primary Focus The ServiceNow Developer will assist in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet our client's business needs. You will have a solid understanding of core modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management, and experience in developing custom applications. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, contribute to application development, and ensure the effective functionality of the ServiceNow platform. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities + Development and Customization: Assist in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications and modules, including custom scripts, workflows, and integrations. + Technical Support: Provide support and help resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations. Ensure ongoing maintenance and optimal system performance. + Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Contribute to translating these requirements into technical solutions. + Business Rules: Support the development and management of business rules to automate processes and maintain system integrity. + APIs and Integrations: Assist in designing and implementing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, facilitating smooth data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems. + Custom Applications: Help build and maintain custom ServiceNow applications to address specific business needs, ensuring functionality and performance. + Best Practices: Follow best practices, coding standards, and industry guidelines in all development tasks. + Documentation: Contribute to creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and knowledge base articles. + Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and industry trends. Assist in implementing innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Job Skills and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: + Experience: 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with hands-on experience in business rules, APIs, integrations, and custom applications. + Technical Skills: Knowledge of ServiceNow platform scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), REST and SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow development tools. + Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or similar relevant certifications preferred. Security+ certification is required. + Ability obtain and maintain Secret Clearance. + Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment. Minimum Skills: + Strong analytical and follow through skills. + Strong verbal and written communications skills. + Ability to work well independently on defined tasks. + Ability to work well as part of a team. + High proficiency in Microsoft Office; including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other general software applications. Reports to : Program Manager Working Conditions + Professional remote office environment + Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. + Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. + Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace. + Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines. + May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
