Our client, a prestigious Non-Profit/ Think Tank organization is in need of a Grant/Budget & Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team.

Requirements

BS, Finance or business related

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in grant management, donor reporting, financial analysis, and budget forecasting (MUST)

3 years of experience working outside of the Non-Profit space

Advanced Excel - Manual Environment

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing budgetary and financial support to one of the client's programs.

Main Responsibilities (Overview)

In collaboration with, and with final approval of the grant manager, review and process grant agreements through the internal approval process to ensure compliance with grant accounting policies and U.S. government regulations.

Prepare funder reports and financial reports to meet funding terms and the diverse needs of individual programs.

Collaborate with programs to ensure preparation of proposal and program budgets.

Create and fix client budget-reporting templates for internationally funded sub-awards.

Journal Entry Change Requests, Cost Allocation, Make/Confirm Adjustments.

Grants - International or Domestic Highly Preferred Receive Private & Individual Donations.

Proposal budgets to donors.

Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis against historical, budgeted, and forecasted data to identify and manage any financial issues.

Take part in monthly review of financial performance with programs, helping with both meeting preparation and subsequent follow-ups.

Forecast is important to organizational planning: Direct Grant Spend also includes indirect funds which impacts the organization spending/revenue/finances.
