Staff Accountant
Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Staff Accountant job in Lone Tree, CO. To qualify, you must have at least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar full-cycle accounting role. This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $65,000 and $75,000. You will also be eligible for this companys competitive benefits package (details below).
Responsibilities:-Posting journal entries-Managing cash transactions-Managing prepaids and accruals-Monthly bank reconciliations-Reconciling balance sheet accounts-Researching and resolving discrepancies-Preparing financial statements-Using Excel to analyze data sets-Running recurring and ad hoc reports-Reviewing coding of procurement card transactions-Assisting in improving and standardizing accounting practices, policies, and procedures-Assisting with system implementations-Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & use tax filings-All other related tasks as required
Qualifications:-At least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role-Previous industry experience in property management, real estate, etc. preferred-Previous experience with Sage software preferred but not required-Excellent analytical skills-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel-Excellent attention to detail-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Excellent organizational skills
Compensation:-Annual salary between $65,000 and $75,000-100% paid medical, vision, and dental benefits for employee only-401(k) program with employer match-Employee Assistance Program-Opportunities for career development and training
