Immigration Attorney

A law firm in Orange, CA is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage their own caseload while collaborating with a supportive Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants. The role involves representing clients in various immigration matters, preparing applications, and providing strategic legal counsel.Duties:Report to the Sr. Associate Attorney and manage a caseload of immigration cases.Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.Conduct intakes with detained individuals at detention centers.Prepare and file diverse immigration applications, including removal defense, family-based petitions, and humanitarian relief.Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed.Present immigration law updates and collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations.Consult with potential clients to develop strategic immigration plans and determine necessary legal strategies.Develop and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony.Provide legal analysis to identify potential benefits and outcomes for clients' cases.Draft and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration matters.Maintain effective client communication and case management throughout the legal process.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law.1-4 years of experience in Immigration Law.Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, EOIR, detained cases, and USCIS applications.Preferably bilingual in Spanish.Proficiency with case management software is preferred.Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong legal research and writing abilities.Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.Proven track record of advancing legal cases effectively.Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Experience presenting complex immigration concepts and solutions to clients and authorities.Comcast brings together the best in media and technology.
