Human Resources Manager - Fullerton, Ca

Responsibilities:Assists in preparing, maintaining, and analyzing confidential records related to employer/employee relations, collective bargaining, grievance processing, unfair labor practice charges, and litigation.Provides expert guidance in managing labor and employee relations, covering performance management, investigations, discipline, grievances, and contract negotiations.Demonstrates expertise in Benefits, Workers Comp, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Payroll, Compensation, New Hires Offers, New Hire Orientations, Employee Evaluations, and HR metrics.Manages and advises on immigration processes, including H-1B visas, OPT/CPT, and employer-sponsored green cards, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely filed.Keeps the organization up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and regulations, providing regular training and updates to relevant stakeholders.Facilitates management training, one-on-one coaching, and employee engagement strategies.Designs and supports proactive engagement and development to enhance retention and reduce turnover.Manages employee data in HRIS, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements.Partners with upper management and legal team on HR policies, programs, and compliance.Administers HR policies in areas such as employee relations, staffing, recruitment, termination, training, benefits, compensation, time and attendance, and personnel records.Collaborates with Safety & Training Manager to address health and safety issues, manage workers' compensation cases, and ensure OSHA compliance.Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.Assesses insurance plans, collaborates with brokers to secure optimal coverage, and maintains records for government compliance.Maintains employee handbook, manages HR policies, and addresses specific employee issues in coordination with external resources.Ensures compliance with HR policies and practices in Canada and Mexico, including understanding local labor laws, benefits administration, and employee relations.Creates and enforces HR policies that accommodate the legal and cultural differences in Canada and Mexico, ensuring consistency across the organization.Occasionally travels to company locations within the U.S. to support HR initiatives, employee relations, and compliance efforts across regions.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree and/or HR certification is a plus.Proven experience 8+ years in a senior HR role, with a track record of successfully managing HR functions.Proven experience in diverse HR functions with a focus on employee relations and compliance.In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working through ambiguity.*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
