How You'll Make an Impact

We are hiring an HR Specialist supporting the Talent Acquisition and the Learning and Development teams. The HR Specialist is an integral partner in managing onboarding and learning and development activities. This candidate will be an organizational guru, strong attention to detail, work effectively with internal and external candidates and partners, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.

What You'll Do

Manage onboarding process for all new hires, internal transfers and conversions including: create and send offer letters, ensure background checks are cleared, verify all new hire paperwork is completed including managing I9 process, partner with IT to confirm access requests, enter hires into our Workday system and schedule new employees for orientation.Facilitate/Deliver New Hire Orientation for North AmericaUpdate candidate records and job postings in the recruiting systemSupport the University Relations Program and the Internship ProgramIdentify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiencySupport the Learning and Development team by maintaining training programs, assisting with scheduling, helping to develop and distribute communication materials, and managing the LMS.Assist in the coordination of other HR activities/projects as neededWhat You Will Bring

Bachelor Degree and 1+ years of experience in an operational and/or administrative support role within the recruiting function.Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality in dealing with all documents, files and communications.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and experience with Applicant Tracking systems preferably Workday.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.High attention to detail and follow up skills.Self-starter with ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
