The Salesforce architect works closely with IT and business leaders to create alignment between business and IT. The Salesforce architect clarifies strategic intentions, aligns business outcomes, explores implications, impacts, and risks, and addresses stakeholders' questions.They design and create deliverables for business leaders that support organizational change toward achieving targeted business outcomes. The Salesforce architect facilitates discussion around the construction of business models, which may include technology, business capabilities, processes, and other key business deliverables. The Salesforce architect helps strategy and business leaders understand, apply, monetize, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models.What You'll Do:

Assesses the disruptive forces impacting the organization and the economic and financial levers that are susceptible within the organization to digital transformation and optimization.Serves as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert.Analyzes the organization's Salesforce strategy and how the organization currently approaches innovation, streamlining/process improvement, and monetization.In coordination with VP, AVP, and manager drive understanding, adoption, and coordination of next-gen Salesforce technologies across the organizationParticipates in the ongoing process of identifying and prioritizing business processes that can be converted to digital to enhance the customer experience and become a trusted partner in the management and delivery of products and services.Acts as a subject matter expert on the Salesforce suite of products, supporting technologies, and AppExchange providers along with trends in digital solutions and capabilities.Keeps abreast of emerging CRM technologies and evaluates vendor offerings to determine the best fit for business needs.Collaborates with the CIO, VP & AVP to create a strategy for the enterprise to promote the use of data, data services, and technology platforms to establish the scalable Salesforce ecosystem.In coordination with Sr. Leadership is responsible for end-to-end strategy, design, and implementation of the roadmap for the organization's Salesforce and Marketing Cloud suite of products.Effectively mentors other Salesforce professionals to solve complex systems and program problems. Handles extensive research, analysis, definition, and documentation on all facets of the job.Set the strategy for core Salesforce developments in the marketplace and have a strong point of view of opportunity/impact for meeting business goals.Partner with Salesforce Strategy & Operations VP & Marketing AVP Product Owners to manage the project portfolio.Creates the architectural blueprint and establishes best practices that help guide the rest of the technical team on how best to leverage the Salesforce ecosystem.Assesses vendors, AppExchange providers, and solutions to determine the best fit for the enterprise.Performs evaluations of enterprise Salesforce technology standards, tools, products, and solutions to identify opportunities for improvement.Verify that systems and practices are compliant with internal and external specifications.Review the design of potential solutions to identify design risk, component end-of-life measures, and regulatory issues.Analyze the current Salesforce platforms, cloud, and security architecture to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement using digital solutions.Maintain relationships with appropriate technology partners (internal and external) in developing, deploying, and supporting technical solutions.Works with multiple stakeholders to optimize Salesforce solutions to meet enterprise requirements.Partner and guide a team of developers and testers through an Agile and DevOps process that includes continuous integration, testing, and delivery.What You'll Have:

Organizationally savvy - comfortable, experienced, and accomplished at working with business executives, and able to push back in a professional and diplomatic manner.Ability to communicate, influence, and persuade - both business and IT leaders, as well as peersUses the language of business leaders and joins the conversation that's taking place.Knowledge of existing, new, and emerging Salesforce technologies and ability to practically apply them to new business designs and business models to achieve targeted business outcomes.Ability to analyze Salesforce project and product needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems.Understands business process management, workflow, and integration methods and tools.Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders.Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem, and App Exchange offeringsBachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experienceFive or more years of business or IT experience with direct responsibility for strategy formulation and/or translation, business analytics, and program managementExperience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, virtualization, software design, software development, networking, Agile development, SCRUM, application lifecycle management, open source programming languages .Net/C#, Informatica, Sales/Service Cloud, or Financial Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce's Lightning Component Framework (formerly ), APEX, VisualForce, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, and Soap, Rest, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, technical solution architecture, GIT, TFS or equivalentDeep understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, products, and best practiceSalesforce Development experience preferredCertifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):Salesforce Architect - PreferredSalesforce Administrator - RequiredSales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Platform Developer 1 are a plus.Marketing Cloud certifications or equivalent experience a plus
