A law firm in Westborough, MA is seeking a
Junior Labor and Employment Attorney
to handle a diverse range of labor, employment, and human resources-related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills, and will be responsible for legal research, document drafting, and client advisories.Duties:Conduct legal research on labor and employment law issues.Draft legal memoranda, court documents, briefs, and client advice letters.Advise public and private-sector employers on a broad range of labor, employment, and human resources matters.Assist with collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations.Support public sector education law matters, including policy drafting, administrative hearings, student rights, and other education-related issues.Represent employers in employment litigation before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies.Collaborate with senior attorneys and interact effectively with clients to address legal concerns and provide strategic advice.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials.Excellent analytical, drafting, and verbal communication skills.Ability to interact effectively with clients and manage client relationships.Certifications:Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (required).Skills:Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Strong understanding of labor and employment law, including collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle complex legal matters and interact with clients effectively.Experience or knowledge in public sector education law is a plus.
